Something for warm autumn days: Lignum Vitae by Beaufort, a soft delicious lemon cake opening transforming into a dry ambery gaiac wood and incense. The concept of the perfume is in turn a layered cake of references to Marcel Proust's novel, the craft of naval time pieces making, the sea of time and the literal seas.
Top notes: black pepper, caramel, ginger, juniper, lemon, lime, madeleine cake accord, mandarin, pink pepper, sea spray
Heart notes: gaiac / guaiac wood, gaïac wood, oud, vetiver
Base notes: amber, frankincense, hot sand accord, moss, musk, sea salt, vanilla
