Spicy incense

Ayutthaya was the capital of Siam (present-day Thailand) between the 14th and 18th centuries. Once, it was possibly the largest city in the world with over 1 million citizens.

Ayutthaya, the perfume, is a reference to the city’s hay day as the center of trade, culture and diplomacy in the East. Imagine the precious temple incense, spice markets against the back drop gun powder, and the eternal companion of wealth.

Notes:  aldehydes, amber, benzoin, black tea, camphor, champaca, cinnamon, coriander, cumin, ebony, gun powder, incense, jasmine, moss, myrrh, nutmeg, opoponax, papyrus, patchouli, sandalwood, styrax, teak wood, vetiver
