Try a perfume before you commit to a full bottle. Order 1 ml samples of more than a thousand niche perfumes we have in stock right now, and wear a scent a few times to see how it develops on your skin. Most samples cost under £10.

How 1 ml samples work

Almost every perfume we sell comes as a 1 ml sample, and this page lists the ones in stock right now. The list updates by itself as stock changes, and the sample price is shown on each perfume. Open a perfume to add its sample to your bag, or on a computer use Preview item, which opens with the sample already selected. You can mix samples from different brands in one order.

From sample to full bottle

If you buy a sample and later choose the full-size bottle of the same perfume, the price of the sample is deducted from the bottle. Log in to the same Bloom account before you add the bottle to your bag, and the discount is applied automatically. Your sampling history and discounts are in your account. The discount applies to individual samples, not to themed sample packs.

Themed packs and a sample subscription

Prefer a ready-made selection? Our discovery sets and sample packs group several perfumes around a theme or a brand. With the samples subscription you receive a new themed pack every month for a year.

Smell them in person

Visit our shop at 4 Slingsby Place in Covent Garden, London, to smell perfumes in person and ask our team for advice on what to sample.

Which brands can I sample?

Almost every house we stock, for example Zoologist, Naomi Goodsir, Orto Parisi, Imaginary Authors and Etat Libre d'Orange. Use the notes cloud and the filters to narrow the list.
