An elegant banquet.
Ducalis. The Duchi d’Acquaviva –the Acquaviva Dukes– were one of the seven most important lineages of the Reign of Naples and settled one of their capitals in Atri at the end of the XII century, bringing splendor and prosperity to the town.
Backing the rose note at the heart of the fragrance with creamy rosewood, amber and vanilla certainly gives Ducalis the facet of lusciousness its named for. The nutmeg twist to the house’s trademark salt accord is a very nice thing, giving the rose note a subtle spice seasoning that hangs around wonderfully.
Please note: only the 100ml bottles come with the ornate rosario lid (pictured).
The 50ml bottles do not.
