Dama Koupa by Baruti

Named after The Queen of Hearts, the idea behind Dama Koupa is a sense of sophistication; of elegance and passion. As a perfume it’s character is immediately dominated by the tenacity of the iris and osmanthus which, when combined with the honeyed amber and musk in the base of perfume, creates a decidedly suedey and rich leather facet.

The almond impression of macaroons in the top note is somewhat bizarrely the perfect opening for such a deep and rich composition: it’s marzipan edge doesn’t make Dama Koupa an out and out gourmand though, far from it. It proves to be the perfect introductory opening for the fragrance’s heavy and seductive heart.
