Tears by Comme Des Garcons

Red clay, wet cotton, dry musk Comme des Garcons and indie fashion brand Denim Tears have created Tears, an eau de parfum composed around the scent of cotton. The fragrance draws on rural Georgia just after the rain, when heat rises off the red clay and the cotton fields sit wet and green. Perfumer Paul Guerlain built the musk floral as a dry composition with a hay-like warmth. The opening pairs green and resinous galbanum and sage, before revealing a grassy, powdery core of daffodil, jasmine, flouve and orris. Vetiver, hay, cypriol and musk lands a dry, earthy finish.
