Just in: Montabaco by Ormonde Jayne. An ornate tobacco leather with a hint of intoxicating aroma of tobacco bloom as well as fresh leaves. Montabaco is part of the four corners of the world collection and represents Latin America, the land where tobacco originates. The perfumer conjures up the jungle encounters between the natives and the sailor explorers (totally oblivious to the magic of tobacco at that point). This is a novel way to interpret a tobacco themed perfume adding lush green shadows full of parrot cries, mysterious blooms and adventure.
Top notes: bergamot, cardamom, clary sage, juniper, orange, salty breeze
Heart: black tea, hedione, magnolia, rose, violet
Base notes: ambergris, iso-e-super, moss, sandalwood, tobacco, tonka beans
