Rare perfume ingredients: calamus. A mysterious root, known/used since Biblical times but rarely making it to perfume formulas nowadays. Luckily, we have a beautiful example in our collection - Black Calamus by Carner. In this formula this material is in the truly royal company of osmanthus, oud, wild vanilla and precious resins.

Top notes: black pepper, calamu, coriander, Egyptian papyrus

Heart: cistus, labdanum, osmanthus, Turkish rose absolute

Base notes: cade, frankincense, Mexican vanilla, oud
