Hasbaya is a city in Lebanon, and Néroli Hasbaya is inspired by a Lebanese dessert called mouhalabieh, a milk pudding flavoured with orange blossom and pistachio. This extrait opens with incandescent neroli, wrapped in nutty’n’buttery hints of pistachio and almond. Orange blossom reveals its full depth in the base, and the creamy richness of sandalwood and Peruvian balsam enhance the enfolding trail of this radiant perfume.

A tribute to the perfumer’s roots, Oued 48 is an ode to the city of perfumer’s ancestors — Oued Rhiou in Algeria’s territory 48 — and to the soul of the Algerian people. Almond, sweetly nutty, recalls the kalb el louz pastries of his aunts. Neroli and orange blossom conjures the orange trees of his father’s garden, while the vanilla base, warm and comforting, embodies the generosity of Algeria. Musk al ghazal, a musk grain infusion in sandalwood oil that recreates the scent of deer musk, evokes the village elders, their clothing permeated with the rich aroma. Oued 48 is a personal fragrance, carrying memory, tradition and light.

Of Brazilian origin, tonka bean has a dusty almond aroma profile with nuances of vanilla and hay, bringing a comfortable gourmand touch to fragrances. In this interpretation, Tonka explores the material’s amber and creamy side, which combined with coconut and woody notes, results in a cozy, skin-snuggling scent.
