Our life is a long journey through good times and difficult times. We carry our inner child through those hardships and hills, trying to protect it, guarding it on the road.

For me, mimosa flower is a symbol of a beautiful, fluffy pompon, innocent and micro-sized Earth.

I remember myself at the age of three, dressed in a short puffed mimosa-yellow georgette dress, hiding in the tall, light green grass, experiencing a tremendous sense of bliss and joy.

This memory follows me all my life. MIMOSA GOLD is a memory of my happy childhood. Therefore I encourage you to remember good times in your own childhood while experiencing this perfume.

That's why I chose a marvellous mimosa dealbata absolute from France and acacia farnesiana from Egypt to create the heart of this perfume, supported with a creamy ylang-ylang from Comoros. They have not only beautiful smell, but are an incarnation of innocence, beauty of Nature and joy.

All about this fragrance

Vibe check

This is a fragrance for close, reflective moments when the world feels softened by light: a quiet morning, a walk through greenery, or a pause indoors with sunlight on the skin. It projects a tender, golden presence rather than a loud statement.

How to wear

Best in mild to warm weather, where its floral sweetness and pollen-like warmth can open fully without becoming heavy. As an extrait, it deserves a light hand: one or two sprays are enough to create a soft but persistent aura that stays close, then blooms gently in the air.

Who it’s for

For wearers who love mimosa, almondy florals and honeyed, powder-soft compositions with a natural feel. It will appeal to those who prefer floral perfumes that are luminous and comforting rather than sharp, transparent or overly clean.

The nose

Eglija Vaitkevice Eglija Vaitkevice is the founder and perfumer behind Exaltatum, trained at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery and based in London. Her work often leans into natural materials, tactile floral textures and emotionally specific ideas, with compositions that feel personal rather than abstract. With Mimosa Gold, she builds a vivid mimosa accord from high-quality absolutes and supportive florals, aiming for a scent that reads as memory as much as perfume: bright, soft, honeyed and quietly earthy.

Exaltatum’s story

Exaltatum is a London-based indie niche house shaped by literary, architectural and personal references. Its fragrances are made as hand-filled, made-to-order compositions, with an emphasis on artistic intent, natural materials and a distinctly individual point of view.

Mimosa Gold’s concept

Mimosa Gold was conceived as a childhood memory translated into scent: a golden, sunlit image of innocence, joy and the protective tenderness of looking back. The composition centers on mimosa dealbata from France, acacia farnesiana from Egypt and ylang-ylang from Comoros, with the floral heart built to feel fluffy, radiant and emotionally intimate.

Extra info

The name points directly to its golden mimosa theme, and the perfume is often noted for its unusually convincing mimosa accord. It is offered as an extrait de parfum and comes in small, hand-filled bottles, reinforcing the house’s made-to-order approach.
