But despite being the subject, in this composition vetiver’s rich’n’rooty pleasures are folded into a harmony of resinous allies: the honeyed spice of opoponax and the licorice syrup of myrrh. Black pepper and thyme spike the flow, while musk and amber accords smooth the final stanzas.

A road lined with cedars. The fresh morning air. The dense silence of the forest. Blueforest blends the dry freshness of cedarwood with the vibrancy of black pepper, creating an immediate woody-spicy tension. Musk softens the composition with a clean, enveloping sensation, giving the fragrance its second-skin character.

"Fiore di cotone" is an Italian expression for "cotton flower", used to describe a fresh, clean scent. This EdP is powdery and green, thanks to the interplay of lavender with musk and bergamot. Artemisia lends a subtly herbaceous and bitter edge, putting a little starch in this smell of freshly-washed sheets.

In the muggy shade of a tropical rainforest, an orchid sways seductively. Its glistening petals tremble in anticipation, inviting a passing butterfly to consummate the intimate act of pollination. Before the butterfly can comprehend its fate, its head is devoured, crushed between the powerful jaws of the stealthy orchid mantis.

Orchid Mantis lures you into a fragrant illusion. Juicy pear, rich rose and heady jasmine entwine with basil and ylang to suggest the intense scent of orchids. This vintage style is set against the backdrop of a humid rainforest evoked by patchouli, moss, sandalwood and vetiver. An enduring musk serves as a reminder that beauty can also be beastly.

Mischief-making patchouli: a changing, gradually unfolding complex scent. It’s a rich and sensual fragrance done in the grand 40’s diva chypre style. It also has some of the very best ingredients possible: Indonesian patchouli and precious Mysore sandalwood.

It doesn’t really matter if it is lemon blossom, or lemon and blossoms, either way the scent opens light, breezy, and expansive. It’s a transparent scent that conjures up images of white muslin curtains billowing in a Mediterranean breeze, all gauzy and floaty. The floral nuances are sweet, delicate, almost naive, whilst the lemon is sharper, sourer but never very aggressive."
