The opening of Mangomacumba explodes with fruity notes of tropical mango and pineapple, punctuated by lime. Mangomacumba is the first fragrance in Spiritica’s Oscurata Collection, inspired by macumba rituals on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro in Tijuca National Park. The composition moves from tropical brightness into a dark, ferrous heart and an earthy, animalic drydown, echoing the idea of a ritual journey and challenging simplified Western views of these practices.
