It’s ok to go bananas at times. Don’t take life too seriously.

All about this fragrance
Vibe check
This is the scent for close, lively company and a room that can handle a little excess: warm voices, shared desserts, and a playful mood that turns indulgence into personality. It reads as confident, cheeky and a touch unruly rather than polished.
How to wear
Best in cool to mild weather, where its banana-bread sweetness and spiced warmth can bloom without feeling heavy. Apply lightly at first; one or two sprays are enough for a strong, noticeable trail, with the caramel-tonka base lingering warmly on skin.
Who it’s for
For gourmand lovers who want sweetness with attitude: people drawn to edible notes, banana accords, spice and a plush, slightly animalic finish. It suits those who like their fragrances bold, unconventional and unmistakably playful.

Collaborators
Jun Lim, BORNTOSTANDOUT’s founder and creative director, shaped the brand’s rebellious concept and boundary-pushing aesthetic, which frames Nanatopia’s playful, provocative gourmand character. His role was less about formula authorship than setting the creative brief and visual identity that made a banana-bread scent feel intentionally subversive.
BORNTOSTANDOUT’s story
BORNTOSTANDOUT builds its identity around rebellion, self-expression and a deliberate refusal of quiet luxury. The house leans into provocative concepts, high-design visuals and emotionally direct compositions that use gourmand, spice and animalic effects to feel bold rather than polite.
NANATOPIA’s concept
Nanatopia was created as a banana-bread gourmand with a mischievous edge: ripe banana, spiced bread, caramel and a darker, more seductive base. The name and the brand’s own tongue-in-cheek line about “going bananas” frame it as a playful escape from restraint rather than a conventional sweet fragrance.
Extra info
Nanatopia is built around a banana-bread idea rather than a simple fruit note, and its bottle follows BORNTOSTANDOUT’s porcelain-inspired design language in white with red accents. The fragrance is also part of the house’s push to make provocative gourmand scents its signature.
