All about this fragrance

Vibe check

It suits a quiet morning routine or a reset at the end of the day, when you want the bathroom to smell briefly of crushed citrus peel and white blossom. The effect is polished but not loud, more like a clean aura than a statement.

How to wear

Best used in the shower or at the sink when you want a scented cleanse with a soft, lingering trail. The foam is generous and the neroli stays airy and close to the skin, making it especially comfortable in warm weather or for those who prefer fragrance in a lighter, more discreet form.

Who it’s for

For those who like neroli in its brighter, more floral-citrus register, and who enjoy a clean scent with a refined, slightly luminous character. It will appeal to readers who prefer understated freshness, gentle texture and a perfume-led body care ritual.

The nose

Pierre Guillaume is the self-taught perfumer behind Parfumerie Générale, a house he founded in 2002. Known for an instinctive, highly personal approach, he builds fragrances by recomposing familiar materials into vivid, often narrative compositions that feel contemporary rather than classical. His style tends to favour contrast, movement and a certain conversational quality on skin: perfumes that unfold in stages, with clear ideas and a strong authorial voice. That sensibility suits Neroli ad Astra, which extends his signature floral-citrus brightness into a gentler cleansing format.

Pierre Guillaume - Parfumerie Générale’s story

Pierre Guillaume Paris, formerly Parfumerie Générale, is an independent author-led house built around creative freedom, in-house development and French manufacture. Its identity leans poetic and inventive, with fragrances designed to feel modern, distinctive and wearable rather than dictated by trends.
