The shady cool and crisp orris (made very dry with cedar and tonka) offers a floral riddle which every nose solves in his or her own way.

Bel Air, in a contemporary interpretation, exalts the most exquisite flowers of Grasse in a sumptuous, luminous bouquet.

A fragrance in which Centifolia rose, jasmine, tuberose, iris, violet, and mimosa bloom sensuously, eternally. A genuine jewel of light, the bottle is a faithful replica of its predecessor, now tenderly tinged with coral. Bel Air, inspired by an idyllic garden, enchants the eye and heart with its petite pastel flask that radiates intensely bucolic beauty.

Klea opens with crisp mandarin and bergamot, while olive leaf adds an aromatic quality. As it warms on the skin, light and dewy floral notes of water lily, magnolia and jasmine reveal themselves. The citrus and florals intermingle with an aquatic sea salt note, reminiscent of warm skin drying in the sun after a dip in the sea. Papyrus and cedar ground the fragrance with a gentle woodiness, while amber, Egyptian musk and tonka bean add a softly regal quality.

The pale moon can be seen lowering over the towers of Notre Dame in the distance. A man and a woman are in a perfumery, surrounded by bottles. He has yielded in submission to a fallen sovereign and is condemned to the ultimate fate. She is the new soul, the new role, she is desirable and she has conquered. She is the denunciation, a touch condescending. The fluttering of her eyelashes declares she is the one whose hour of glory has arrived, a scent testing blotter in hand."

A nostalgic soap scent that’s fresh and creamy, based on the tissue thin, dissolving paper soap available in Japan. Lavender and aldehydes soften into rose, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley, conjuring vintage sudsiness.

One dance is enough to captivate an entire city. Celestial Robe traces her steps with this fougere, starting with the zesty opening movement: tart orange, lemon and rhubarb, with pine and grapefruit adding sharpness and clarity. Galbanum underscores the green aspects, as a bouquet of woods (cedarwood and guaiac wood) and plush musk and ambergris round off the choreography.

Australian spring arrives, bearing dazzling frocks of yellow blossoms to dress the bare golden wattle trees. Clouds of sweet honeyed fragrance, caught upon the breeze, carry an invitation inland, where a flock of cockatiels happily take up the celebration. Emerging from dusty nests, the birds are ready to preen and prance. On a wobbly stage of branches, vivid crests bop to the rhythm of their joyous songs. After a final encore, the flock takes flight. Alighting in a nearby field they share a delightful brunch, buzzing with the thrill of their stunning recital.

Zoologist Cockatiel exudes joy. A sunny burst of yellow acacia offers a friendly welcome. Dots of raspberry and tart rhubarb suggest a hint of mischief, like a pair of rosy cheeks beneath a golden plume. Finally, soft notes of musk and vanilla enfold the vibrant Cockatiel, like downy feathers cushioning the brashness of this cheeky bird.

Zoologist Cockatiel was formerly known as “Powder and Dust”, a perfume created by Sven Pritzkoleit, published under his own brand, SP Parfums. The creative director of the scent was Yana Lysenko. This perfume won the 2019 Arts and Olfaction Awards under the Artisan category. In 2020, Sven closed his perfume business and sold the formula of Powder and Dust to Zoologist to continue its legacy.
