The fruity and herbaceous facet of Davana essential oil is then softened by a warm and appetizing Vanilla to reveal a modern and striking chypre."

In this perfume story, the smoky gaiac aroma is gliding across a fresh and boundless ozonic void.

The story is open to interpretation: you can smell the waterproof canvas of the parachute gear in the abstract clean woodiness of the formula; or the air from under the tarpaulin you pull off a glider in its hangar; or think of any scenario involving flying machinery and an unlimited supply of fresh air.

The perfumer wanted to achieve a hazy floating shadow of an aroma, evoking a sensation of endless dark blue space, the calm humming of an engine, and hints of gasoline or machine oil. A worthy heir to the grandpa of all hazy smoky formulas inspired by airplane wings: Guerlain’s Vol de Nuit.

Spiritually, four symbolizes the wholeness of the universe, four elements, four seasons, four cardinal points, connecting us all. Kajal IV spirits us to the wilderness of the African savannah, drawing a straight line between the dawn of humans to our ever-expanding world. The undulating golden panorama caressed by sultry heat is expressed by date-sweetened leather, studded with cardamom and brushed with rum. Vanilla and musk softens and beckons.

You will always want more of this fragrance. The fleeting animality of cumin merges with the warm and powerful cinnamon, and the intense syrupy trail of rum reveals itself to be a fleeting pleasure.

The spicy and generous matriarch, vanilla, in search of vital euphoria, duplicates itself to the point of paroxysm. In its insatiable quest, it drags davana, whose fruity aromatic bipolarity is completed by the warm tones of cistus. Despite all this, it is not enough, the feeling of unfulfillment persists, like the woody ardor of chestnut and the biting character of vetiver. There is still desire, a desire conveyed through the vibrations of amber woods and the technology of Vinyl Gaiacol.

Inspired by the traditional Provençal sweet Calisson, an almond-shaped paste of candied fruit topped with fondant icing. This edp launches with bergamot and sugary milk. Fresh orange blossom radiates from the heart, supported by a warm and creamy sandalwood. Base notes of caramel, vanilla and musk complete the mouth-watering effect.
