White is a bright and lively fragrance built around the friction between hot spices and suave florals. The cinnamon, clove and cardamom opening suggests candied red hots, which makes it all the more surprising when the melange of rose de Mai and lily of the valley softly asserts itself. The undertone of tagete, with its bitter herbalness, keeps White from getting too “pretty-pretty”.

A group of architects gather for cocktails at Mayfair's smartest Art Deco smoking room. As they settle in the warm interior of dark woods, leather and velvet, London's bright young things burst in, frosted martinis in hand, surrounded by a cloud of laughter - white smoke and fine vanilla.

The same way in which Martin goes to a sight and rearranges what nature left there into an installation, the perfumer rearranged some molecules and materials to put the beauty of a natural material into focus.

Also Martin aims to let his structures be absorbed back into natural chaos. Perfume evaporates into the environment in a similar fashion, beautiful but transient.

In Vanilla Shot all of the focus is on vanilla (natural, dark and balsamic). The concept of the perfume is inspired by a photo of a piece of Martin Hill's land art shot at dreamy dusk (below). The twigs used in the structure balanced over the lake are reminiscent of vanilla beans. The installation transcends two planes - liquid and ether and in the perfume vanilla spans the sweet and bitter corners of the scented universe. Vanilla Shot is not an ordinary sweet gourmand. In this perfume all nuances of natural vanilla get proper attention: balsamic, fruity, spicy, sweet and even leathery.

A voluptuous amber built around the formidable floral trio of magnolia, peony and Bulgarian rose. Adding spice to the headiness is nutmeg and cardamom, and the lusciousness is heightened by a custardy vanilla, with a playful wink of tangerine. Tender orange blossom further encourages the decadence. Laetitia features millesimé notes: like in fine wines and liqueurs, these are the extracts obtained from the best years of production.

Perfumer: Karine Dubreuil – Sereni

The fourth fragrance in the citrusy section of Bon Parfumeur’s library of perfume themes. This time it’s mandarin gin, juicy and green with a bit of spicy sweet tobacco in the background.

Frosted patchouli : a palpable tension between hot and cold. The fragrance begins on a frosted note with marine accents, warmed by a spicy combination of ginger, pink pepper and juniper berry. The patchouli is intense, warm and powerful, a patchouli leaf captured in ice.

For here is an ode to modern day British entrepreneurial optimism, life is moving fast, fortunes are being made and lost, but let’s face it, the journey is where the thrill is at its most potent.

Brash and loud is not Audacity’s style; it is far more refined. Day turns to night with the added bitterness of frankincense and juniper wood. Caelestis is a scent that evokes the purity of a clear morning, the promise of a new day, and the boundless freedom of the night sky.

This eau de parfum pays homage to the city of Da Lat, a haven of serenity in central Vietnam. With its lush pine forests and year-round idyllic weather, Da Lat draws visitors seeking inner peace. At its core, Da Lat EDP is a tender rose scent that unfolds like a love letter, its pages filled with references to peony and magnolia. A red wine accord lends supple body, while cypriol and musk adds some welcome dirt to the drydown.
