The house of Cherigan was founded in 1929 in Paris — at the height of les années folles (the "crazy years"). This was the era of Paris as the global capital for art, literature, jazz and hedonism, where iconic artists like Josephine Baker, Gertrude Stein and Picasso embodied the quest for the new. Relaunched in 2021, Cherigan draws on its heritage as the perfume for daring times and new freedoms. The collection is composed and manufactured entirely in France, available only in extrait de parfum concentration for maximum impact, and containing up to 99% natural ingredients.
