Alcools - Jardins d’Écrivains - Bloom Perfumery

Jardins D’Écrivains summon the spirit of the La Pléiade, a name for the prominent early 20th century poets with a collection of olfactory adaptations of their famous works.

ALCOOLS is a scented reference to  Guillaume Apollinaire's collection of poems and maybe this particular one about autumn and smoke:

"... l’automne a fait mourir l’été Dans le brouillard s’en vont deux silhouettes grises"
"... autumn is summer's dying into the hanging smoke two grey silhouettes receed"

Alcools is a leathery elixir. A smoky rhythm composed of birch tar, tonka bean, benzoin and styrax.
