Almaz, the Arabic word for diamonds, are renowned not only for their beauty, but also for their timelessness as they withstand millions of years of immense pressure in their formation. This EdP references the indestructible nature of diamonds with a powerful blackcurrant-led bouquet. Juiciness is enhanced with raspberry, while powdery heliotrope and musk add padding to the cushiony feel. The ambered base, redolent with vanilla and brown sugar, offsets blackcurrant’s tartness.
 
The jewelled bottle incorporates a poem composed by Elen Jeres Ayoub, portrayed in Eastern Kufic calligraphy. The words have been meticulously placed so that the vertical lines create eight zones on the bottle, representing the lunar phases in each lunar calendar month to represent the passage of time.

Pluie de Soleil is a sunny fruity floral. Lemon and bergamot give Pluie de Soleil a fresh opening followed by delicate hints of freesia, white peach and strawberry.

The central fruity floral facet rests on a base of sandalwood, cashmeran and vanilla. With its title translating as 'It’s raining Sun’ Pluie de Soleil is a joyful, vivacious fragrance evocative of a Mediterranean summer.

From LO’s Parfum Intense collection, this is an amber with the darkness turned up to 11. There’s no white space here, just expensive raw materials piled high. Its vibrant opening with fruity notes is enriched by the bitterness of coffee, deepening into a powerful chorus of rose, iris, jasmine and lily of the valley. And this valley is a deep one, a soft black expanse of leather, nagarmotha and patchouli, cushioned by a dirtier-than-usual amber.

The heart notes glow with jasmine sambac, Turkish rose, Bulgarian rose and magnolia. Vanilla, musk and amber supply the softest landing.
