Osmanthus in this perfume is harvested deep within Guilin province in China. Absolute d’Osmanthe is a modern take on the centuries old essence. The flowers bloom between October and November filling the entire valley with a dreamy fragrance. For the past 2000 years, this fragrant flower with an aroma reminiscent of apricot has been part of perfumers pallette.

How does this work? In Absolue d’Osmanthe EdP, osmanthus is of course the main theme, but balance is shifted to the top (proportion-wise there is more pepper and jasmine in the blend). So the EdP is dry and spicy.

The extrait version of Absolue d’Osmanthe is heavier on the base notes of vanilla and labdanum. The extrait is creamier and more leathery compared to the spicy EdP.

The name means “devout sinners”, conjuring that delicious tension between our best intentions and our wicked ways. In this parfum, syrupy caramel drizzles over rich osmanthus, dark cocoa twins with ambergris’ sweet earthiness, bright orange dances with leathery cypriol. Precious mysore sandalwood underpins the composition. An invitation to lead with the soul.

A mouth-watering gourmand inspired by the baking prowess of Jany, one of the daughters of Sora Dora flounder Antoine. We envision Jany busy in the kitchen, dusted in sugar and flour, preparing tarte tatin. The butter melts on the hot glass dish, dissolving brown sugar into syrup. The aroma swirls around the room, billows to the veranda, travels to the garden. Baked apples and cinnamon sticks merge into exhalations of puff pastry. Then come caramel, almonds and vanilla, powerful aromas that linger into the evening.

The name Pushpak comes from the Sanskrit for “season of flowers”, and this extrait is inspired by the essence of first love. Love’s first touch is summoned with notes of white champaca and osmanthus absolute, with fruity notes of peach and apricot. The warmth of a first hug is suggested by the glow of vanilla and amber, with tonka bean absolute and Thai oud deepening the experience. A tender whisper of powdery musk remains delicately present throughout.

A very interesting addition to the sea of marine fragrances. An aquatic smooth leather, a rather novel combination but beautifully executed. 802 is a smooth sleek osmanthus, musky peony and velvety ambrette mix, reminiscent of suede or really fine leather gloves aroma.

Time-honoured accord of roses and jasmine with dashing notes of orange blossom and bergamot but veers away and deepens with patchouli, cedar wood and fanned with a big hearted warm amber molecule, expertly synergised to create a perfectly balanced but hypnotic and opulent perfume.

Delulu is a soft-focus dream sequence in oversaturated colours, swirling across a soundtrack of shoegaze and nineties/noughties indie.This particular sequence follows childhood into adolescence: a favourite toy, a pack of crayons, a melted sweet in your jeans pocket, a bite of berry pie, a long sunny day doing nothing. There’s fizzy cedrat and the salty-fresh friction of tart rhubarb against rooty vetiver. Like all dreams, things get weird: a niff of rosy plastic and smoky incense. Yesterday is a place you can never visit again, but it’s still an escape from tomorrow. That’s Delulu.

Delulu bottle caps are hand made from memories, specifically a nostalgic jumble of plastic beach toys captured in epoxy resin.
