Playground conjures the bracing nothing of cold air: crisp, clean, marine. A transparent but present blend of bergamot, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley, lightly fluffed with cashmere wood and musk. Honeydew melon lends its cool sweet flesh to this oceanic fantasy.

Beso Pasion is like a sweet summer breeze caressing a Mediterranean island. A breeze infused with sea salt, the delicious aroma of fig trees, and fragrant grass cured by the hot sun.

204 perfumer Domitille Michalon says, “I imagined a sunny fragrance bursting with sweet figs over creamy sandalwood; a nap in the shade when the sun is beating down. I added a touch of green, a touch of nature, like a crunchy edamame bean.”

Miréa brings the wearer a delicious dose of Riviera sun. The fruity, musky notes create a classic Molinard moment. According to ancient religious scriptures, Mary mother of Jesus was informed of her destiny by the Archangel Gabriel when she was about 13 years old. Artists over the centuries have been captivated by the idea of this scene, a startled schoolgirl recoiling in shock from the supernatural being. The lily, symbolizing purity and innocence, is not only a common element of these artworks, but is also the inspiration for this extrait. In principio, Latin for “in the beginning”, is a meditation on the creamy radiance of lily, supported by the down-low sensuality of ylang ylang. Mace, sweeter than nutmeg and softer than incense, lends clarity, while sweet/tart kumquat sharpens the focus.
