X OUD presents itself with a whole set of olfactory opposites.
From spicy Indian oud to the sweetness of black currants, white rum and with a glow from patchouli, smoked leather and saffron these ingredients blends against musk, pineapple, apple and jasmine.

With X OUD, we wanted to maintain the original Indian Oud throughout the whole experience so we used a technique that gives the scent of the original Indian Oud a crystal clear role from start to finish.

“Udbaha” means “marriage” in Bangla, and this extrait references the Bangladeshi Holud Night celebration before the wedding. The festival is decorated with marigolds, roses and tuberoses. The aromas of festival sweets and treats fill the air: sugar, nuts, cardamom and saffron, mingling with oranges, pineapple and ripe mangoes. A spicy/earthy paste of turmeric and fenugreek is applied to the bride and groom’s body, enhanced by warm amber. And summoning the ceremonial application of henna, Bengal oud and oakmoss weaves a funky green trail through the proceedings. A deep and joyful perfume.

The wild side of the indomitable goat swirling with the learthery darkness of the mountain roads. Mushrooms and truffles conjur the habitat; and the dirty, bestial, almost aggressive side of the creature is felt through goat's milk, costus and oud. Among the colorful silks and glazed pottery, we loved to lose ourselves in the voluptuous atmosphere of the spices. Sheathed in my leather dress, I can see myself surrounded by all the mysterious, colorful flacons. You chose one exhaling the irresistible notes of oud and trickled two small drops into the hollow of my neck.

A magnetic, very leathery, spicy perfume. A composition of Egyptian jasmine absolute aroused by a complex of soft, sensual, highly textured balsams – tolu balsam, musk and agarwood – and softened by the warm, aromatic notes of cumin, coriander and saffron. Oud base notes define and complete this sultry, flamboyant fragrance.
