A fresh citrus perfume featuring the vintage citron note (‘cedro’ in Italian), with its delicious sour-sweet, musky aroma.

As always, Perris go for the best materials they can source from around the world. They procure the citron (citrus medica in Latin) right where it originates from the province of Cosenza, Calabria, on the southwestern coast of Italy. The diamante citron is uniquely non-acidic citrus with a fresh and sweet flavour. It is often used for culinary purposes, so you might catch a bit of a cute citrus candy or limoncello in the aroma of Cedro di Diamante.

At one point in the 80’s, citron was nearly abandoned by perfumers because of the high content of furocumarins, which had become restricted. Modern technology enables perfumers to extract the citron oil without furocumarins, and the citron note can now be enjoyed in perfumes again.

Frosted patchouli : a palpable tension between hot and cold. The fragrance begins on a frosted note with marine accents, warmed by a spicy combination of ginger, pink pepper and juniper berry. The patchouli is intense, warm and powerful, a patchouli leaf captured in ice.

In the silence of the Alpine peaks, the scent of juniper berries rises, sharp and fresh, over the crisp bite of winter air. Pine trees stand tall, their resinous warmth mingling with the cold, while the soft whisper of sun-dried hay carries a hint of summer pastures. This fragrance echoes the wild contrast of the mountains, where the chill of snow meets the quiet warmth of the earth.

Lumières connects a cultural and spiritual duality: the zest of Madrid and the elegance of Paris. This extrait is a dance between cheerful pink pepper and an unusual mineral musk, resulting in a quietly radiant woody/rosy glow with a sensual undertone. Iris and cedarwood enhance the your-skin-but-better feel.

An ornate tobacco leather with a hint of intoxicating tobacco bloom, as well as fresh leaves.

Montabaco is part of the Four Corners of the Earth collection and represents Latin America, the land where tobacco originated.

The perfumer conjures the original jungle encounters between natives and the sailor-explorers (who were totally oblivious to the magic of tobacco at that point). This is a novel interpretation of a tobacco-themed perfume, invoking lush green shadows full of parrot cries, mysterious blooms, and adventure.

The elixir is also exceptionally concentrated, at 42%. Hence the 'intensivo' in the title.

After the famously troubled artist Vincent Van Gogh cut off his left ear, he admitted himself to an asylum in St Remy in Provence. This extrait is an olfactory portrait of a haunting painting of irises Van Gogh made during his recovery. The Irises depicts a tangle of purple-blue flowers, their stems rippling ribbons of green. The artwork’s dark vibrancy is echoed in the perfume, which explores the dry, leather aspect of iris root. Juniper and ginger keep the focus sharp at the top, before the whole picture emerges revealing amber, vetiver and woods.

This collaboration with Dia Art Foundation and American artist Meg Webster is an earthy, layered scent. Notes of geranium and frankincense sit on top of a mushroom accord that feels plucked from the dirt. Madagascar patchouli and sandalwood envelop green organic notes.

Meg Webster is best known for her sculptures composed of salt, earth, sand, and other natural materials, powerful statements built to disintegrate. The dramatic silver pyramid packaging is a work of art in itself, referencing Webster’s sculptural vocabulary.  The mirrored surface nods to ephemeral encounters with nature, while the bracketed pictogram emblazoned on the packaging references a motif from her early works.
