Musc Maori is built around the contrast of dark melting sweetness of cocoa beans absolute, bittter bergamot and silver foil of white musk.

The name Alyazia is associated with a rare and delicate gazelle, symbolising grace, elegance and natural beauty. With its traditional Bedouin roots, the name has a strong connection to the heritage of the Arabian Gulf. The fragrance opens with plush, tender violet, illuminated by a solar heart of wild strawberry and orange blossom. From LO’s Parfum Intense collection, this is an amber with the darkness turned up to 11. There’s no white space here, just expensive raw materials piled high. And this valley is a deep one, a soft black expanse of leather, nagarmotha and patchouli, cushioned by a dirtier-than-usual amber.

"For Davana & Vanille Bourbon, I wanted a gourmet Vanilla reminiscent of Pasteis de nata, a famous Portuguese pastry whose traditional recipe can be found in Lisbon. Its sweet scent takes me back to my childhood in the streets of the capital during peaceful days with my family. These precious and happy moments were an unprecedented inspiration for this fragrance. The fruity and herbaceous facet of Davana essential oil is then softened by a warm and appetizing Vanilla to reveal a modern and striking chypre."

The name means “devout sinners”, conjuring that delicious tension between our best intentions and our wicked ways. In this parfum, syrupy caramel drizzles over rich osmanthus, dark cocoa twins with ambergris’ sweet earthiness, bright orange dances with leathery cypriol. Precious mysore sandalwood underpins the composition. An invitation to lead with the soul.

The name means “dominant saints”, and the angel in charge here is Tunisian Orange Blossom Absolute, flying in clouds of amber, vanilla, and a touch of crème brûlée. A distinctive salted skin accord, along with a gourmand-ified patchouli, adds a rasp to the sweetness.

Do not spray these blends liberally as a cloud in the way you would spray a conventional perfume. Anna’s smellscapes need to be… carefully applied and experienced. Be mindful that some oils can also make your skin hyper-sensitive to UV.

Technically tonka are nuts as they come from a tree (whereas a bean is a seed of a legume). ‘Tonka beans’ is a misnomer but also phrase used to refer to them in perfumery, cooking, etc. In Happy Nuts tonka is key note contributing to the delicious nuts roasted in caramel fragrant idea. The name could be a suggestive euphemism or just a reference to tonka being promoted to their accurate botanical rank – nuts.

Conjuring the Garden of Eden by way of a supernatural green vanilla. A scent so sylvan it will feel as if you have wrapped yourself in verdant ivy. Gardenia deepens the green tones as tomato leaves bring a rich earthyness. Tonka beans are warm and creamy while red juicy raspberry contrasts for a vibrant edge.

Kumaru is the name of the tree that produces the star of this composition: the incredibly expressive tonka bean. This sensual and comforting fragrance is built around this versatile material in all its facets: woody, balsamic, vanillic and almondy, with hints of tobacco and hay. Cardamom, roasted barley and amber add a gourmand texture that shimmers between touchable and lickable. Musks heighten the addictive quality.
