Violets Pack’s concept
Violets Pack was curated to explore the difference between violet as a botanical material and violet as a perfumer’s interpretation. The starting point was the rare, expensive leaf absolute and the many ways the flower’s scent can be reconstructed, from confection-like sweetness to delicate floral effects. With traditional enfleurage too labour-intensive and costly for most modern perfumery, the edit focuses on the variety of violet interpretations, bringing together green leaf, powder, leather and woods rather than treating violet as one fixed fragrance style.
